Support for the presentation of academic works abroad, November 2024 to October 2026 

Support criteria

  1. The applicant for support must be a member of SST.
  2. “Must be a presenter of the work in person” in an international standard conference accepted by the Spine Society of Thailand (SST) including the International Section of the following international academic conferences:
    • SRS Annual Meeting & IMAST & Current Concept of Spinal Deformity & Hand-On Solution Workshop
    • EuroSpine, EFFORT, NASS
    • SICOT
    • AO Spine & Global Spine Congress
    • APCSS, PASSMISS, SMISS
    • APSS, APOA, SICOT
    • Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS)
    • Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS)
    • The International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery (ISASS)
    • Neuro Spine Congress , Spineweek
  1. Applications for support from SST must be submitted within 30 days from the end of the conference.
  2. "There is no need to ask for support from the Royal College anymore."
  3. SST only provides support for travel to present papers at overseas conferences.
  4. Applicants must submit proof of presentation including Invitation letter, "actual copy of Boarding Pass" and photo of presentation.
  5. The total support per doctor, including all presentations, is no more than 100,000 baht per year (starting from November 1 to October 31 of each year).
  6. This regulation shall be effective from 1 November 2024 until the end of the term of the current committee.

Sponsorship Details (Only one request can be submitted per conference)

  • Invited Faculty Lecture: 30,000 baht per conference
  • Free Paper Presentation: 20,000 baht per conference

note All considerations for support for lectures or presentations of academic work must go through the consideration of the SST Academic Committee.

Using this criterion as a guideline, the results of the consideration of support shall be based on the majority vote of the meeting as final.
