Establishment of the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand

The Executive Committee of the Orthopaedic Association, together with the association's advisors, proposed the idea of establishing the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand because

  1. The past operations of the association had to go through the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand every time, especially the training of resident physicians, including methods, course content and allocation. There were many additional regulations and restrictions, causing the subcommittee for examinations for certification letters and certificates in the field of orthopaedic surgery and the Orthopaedic Association to lack flexibility.
  2. In order to protect the rights and benefits of its members, orthopedic doctors should have their own organization of orthopedic doctors that directly supervises and promotes knowledge and skills to members.
  3. Being an independent organization under the support, supervision and supervision of government agencies, especially the Medical Council directly, will be accepted domestically and internationally.

The Orthopaedic Association of Thailand has coordinated with the Medical Council and other experts to draft the Council's regulations on the Thai Orthopaedic College and the training curriculum for orthopaedic doctors. 4 Year up and present to the association meeting in the year.Prof. 2536 At the Central Plaza Hotel, the association's committee made a proposal to the annual general meeting in 2017..Prof. 2537  At Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel, after that it was presented to the Medical Council on 12 May 2538 Until the day 2 November 2538 It was announced in the Royal Gazette, General Announcement Volume 112  When 88 N.
